A Genius In Every Mac
Have you seen the recent ads? Funny, huh. This made me realize that buying a mac comes with high quality customer support for first time users who wants to learn when switching to a mac by contacting them through phone or on-line. Just go to www.apple.com, click Support then below, there is Contact Apple Support, which has a link, "Getting started."
You will find this:
Contact options vary based on your product and its eligibility for support. For faster service, use Express Lane to contact Apple.
Most Apple products come with 90 days of complimentary technical support and a one-year limited warranty. We recommend that you check your coverage before contacting Apple.
If more than 90 days and one-year warranty has expired, click check your coverage link and enter your serial number found in About This Mac on the menubar, and clicking more info.
So, if your coverage has expired, you can still purchase phone technical support from Apple Advisor.
Here's the worldwide customer support contact numbers: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57.
Or, you could just go to your nearest Apple Store and talk to a Genius. :)

For Macs With No AirPlay Mirroring Support In Mountain Lion
I know some of you guys are eager for this feature in Mountain Lion. AirPlay "mirrors" your mac to your TV using Apple TV wirelessly, but AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). So, if you have older like 2010 macs, you can't have this feature, which is a deal-breaker for some.
Fortunately, you can still watch your movies, slideshows, TV shows (U.S. and maybe other countries), listen to music on iTunes via Home Sharing using an Apple TV click here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4352.
If your computer is connected to other computers over a local network, you can share items in your iTunes library with up to five of those computers. While your computer is on and iTunes is open, others in your network can play your shared items, but can’t import shared items into their libraries.
That's Cool!

How To Fix Mac Overheating Problem
There is a simple solution to overheating problems with your mac, and that is don't run a screensaver. It may be funny, but the simple reason is that mac's screensaver runs using the graphics video card and this causes your mac to heat, but not overheating. From researching on Apple forums, they say that it is normal and will not cause any damage to your computer. But, if you are concerned, this is the simplest solution:
Note: When playing video games, this also requires using your mac's graphics video card, so that explains it.
That's it!
- Go to System Preferences->Desktop & Screen Saver->put the slider to never start screen saver.
- If you want to lock your screen, just click Hot Corners->Put Display to Sleep.
Note: When playing video games, this also requires using your mac's graphics video card, so that explains it.
